Fairfax Basement and Laundry Room

TLC was in store for this basement in Fairfax. What once was a builder’s home is now a newly remodeled (code compliant) basement. This family contacted us to convert an old theater room into a new storage room with space for a garage. On the other half of the basement, we remodeled the recreation room, stairwell and laundry room. The laundry room now has abundant storage, racks to hang clothes, new louvered doors, space for a mini fridge and endless counterspace. The stairwell has refinished oak treads with painted risers, a new stair runner that is meant for wear and tear from a four legged family member and a new balustrade. Luxury Vinyl Plank spreads across the recreation room and laundry room to tell a cohesive story. While the goal of this project was to make the basement more usable for our clients, it has enticed the kids to start tackling their own laundry. We call this a win win.
