Fairfax Bump Out Room Addition – Large Kitchen

Our clients knew this would be their forever home. They wanted to have a larger kitchen where they could cook together as a family of four. We were approached to “bump out” the back of their home in order to change/enlarge the layout of their kitchen. While some may denote this concept as a bump out addition, we (Northwood) define this as a room addition because it required a complete foundation. Inside of the addition we were able to incorporate a flush beam, a large island, two skylights, an 8 foot wide new Andersen Frenchwood gliding door for access outside, and additional windows for natural light. There are so many goodies packed into this project for you to see.
