Fairfax Open Concept Kitchen

Function and aesthetics were both key factors in this remodel. Before, the kitchen was quite dark with clay painted walls, medium stained cabinets and black countertops. There was a wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room that isolated the chef from any guests. The final design relocated the refrigerator, converted the range into a cooktop, relocated the oven to now become a combination wall unit (microwave plus single oven), and increased the storage capacity within the footprint. Symmetrical design around the Monogram cooktop and Wellborn wood hood highlighted the transformation of this kitchen. With the wall being removed entirely, this kitchen is now an entertainment haven with seating at the table and the peninsula.
